ChatGPT + TrustSEO

Use ChatGPT Developer Mode and custom MCP connectors to give ChatGPT access to your TrustSEO SEO workspace.

TrustSEO MCP server URL

https://trustseo.club/api/mcp

TrustSEO uses OAuth to connect your account and Google Search Console property. Never paste your Google credentials or access tokens into a chat.

Connect TrustSEO step by step

1

Open the connector settings

In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings and go to Apps or Connectors. Workspace plans may require an administrator to enable Developer Mode or custom MCP connectors first.

2

Create a custom connector

Choose the option to create or add a custom connector, then select the remote MCP server option.

3

Enter the TrustSEO server URL

Use https://trustseo.club/api/mcp as the MCP server URL. TrustSEO is a remote HTTPS server, so it does not require a local desktop process.

4

Save and connect

Save the connector and start the authorization flow. Sign in to TrustSEO, choose the workspace and Google Search Console property you want to use, and approve the requested access.

5

Use TrustSEO in a chat

Start a new chat, enable TrustSEO from the Apps or Connectors menu, and ask a question such as “Which pages lost the most clicks in the last 28 days?” Confirm the site when prompted.

How to create a custom connector

If you are building your own MCP connector, use these platform-compatible requirements as a checklist:

  • Build a public HTTPS MCP endpoint that implements the MCP protocol.
  • Expose clearly named tools with input schemas, output schemas, and accurate read-only/open-world/destructive annotations.
  • Add OAuth or another secure authentication flow before exposing private data.
  • For an app submission, verify the domain at /.well-known/openai-apps-challenge and complete the review metadata and test cases.
